Human VNN1 (Vanin 1) ELISA Kit (HUES03490)

The Human VNN1 (Vanin 1) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a sandwich-format immunoassay that quantifies Vanin 1, a GPI-anchored pantetheinase enzyme expressed in liver, kidney, gut epithelium and immune cells. Vanin 1 hydrolyzes pantetheine into pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and cysteamine, linking pantothenate metabolism to oxidative-stress response, inflammation and tissue injury.

The colorimetric assay is run on a 96-well microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, using biotinylated detection antibody plus streptavidin-HRP and TMB substrate. Reconstituted standard and samples (serum, plasma or other biological fluids) are added directly; absorbance is read at 450 nm with a 570 nm reference correction. Intra-assay and inter-assay CV are typically below 10%, with a working range spanning roughly 0.3–20 ng/mL depending on lot.

Intended for research use only, the kit supports biomarker studies in inflammatory bowel disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, cardiovascular risk, diabetes and metabolic syndrome. Store all components at 2–8°C; bring to room temperature before use and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of prepared reagents.
