Human Vinculin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative detection of vinculin in human samples. Vinculin is a key cytoskeletal protein involved in cell adhesion and migration, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular diseases and muscular disorders, making it a relevant biomarker for cell biology research. The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The colorimetric assay has a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measuring range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Reported linearity covers serum (90–100%, 92–102%, 86–103% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (86–97%, 83–97%, 86–99%) and heparin plasma (80–94%, 81–100%, 86–93%). Recovery ranges are 85–104% (average 94%) for serum, 88–102% (average 98%) for EDTA plasma, and 87–100% (average 94%) for heparin plasma.

The workflow comprises six steps: reagent and plate preparation; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes; HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes; TMB substrate incubation in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution. Unopened kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
