Human Vesicular integral-membrane protein VIP36 (LMAN2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantification of human Vesicular integral-membrane protein VIP36 (LMAN2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is reactive with human samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant human VIP36.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.089 ng/mL. Precision data report an intra-assay CV of 6.6% and an inter-assay CV of 10.5%. Linearity is documented across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma dilutions, and recovery in serum averages 104% (range 98–110%) while plasma averages 106% (range 100–112%). VIP36/LMAN2 (UniProt Q12907) is an intracellular lectin involved in vesicular trafficking and the sorting of glycoproteins carrying high-mannose type glycans between the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus. Dysregulation of VIP36 has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic diseases, making it a relevant biomarker for research. The kit is intended for research use only.
