Human VEGFR2/VEGF Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit enables quantitative measurement of VEGFR2 (VEGF Receptor 2, also known as KDR, CD309, or Flk-1; Uniprot P35968) in human-derived samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, and uses a colorimetric readout based on TMB substrate.

Sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL with a quantitation range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Unopened reagents are stored at 2–8 °C and remain stable for up to 12 months. Reported linearity spans dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 in serum (87–104%), EDTA plasma (83–101%), and heparin plasma (80–98%). Spike-and-recovery ranges from 85–103% across the same matrices, with averages between 92% and 98%.

The procedure uses sequential incubation with a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, followed by TMB substrate development and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition. VEGFR2 is a key mediator of VEGF signalling, angiogenesis, and vascular permeability, and its dysregulation is associated with cancer, retinopathy, and inflammation.
