Human VEGFR1/Flt-1 ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of soluble VEGFR1, also called Flt-1, a type I transmembrane receptor that binds VEGF-A, VEGF-B, and placental growth factor. This Assay Genie kit enables detection of the circulating isoform sFlt-1, an anti-angiogenic decoy receptor that sequesters VEGF ligands and modulates vascular homeostasis. Researchers apply this kit to pre-eclampsia studies, where the sFlt-1/PlGF ratio is a recognized biomarker of placental dysfunction and a predictive indicator investigated in maternal-fetal medicine.
