VEGF-C (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor C) is a secreted glycoprotein that signals through VEGFR-3 (Flt-4) and VEGFR-2 to drive lymphangiogenesis, the formation of new lymphatic vessels, and contributes to angiogenesis in pathological settings.
