Human VEGF 165 ELISA Kit

VEGF 165 is a key mediator of angiogenesis, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and ocular disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying disease progression and evaluating potential treatment options.

The assay uses a double-antibody Sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection. Reported performance specifications include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL (1ng=1100mIU). Dilution linearity in serum spans 81-105%, in EDTA plasma 85-105%, and in heparin plasma 81-105% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions. Spike-and-recovery averages are 95% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The protocol follows a sequential incubation scheme: primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
