This Assay Genie kit quantitatively detects VCPIP1, the OTU-domain deubiquitinating enzyme (also known as VCIP135) that trims K48-linked ubiquitin chains from the p97/VCP AAA+ ATPase. VCPIP1 supports post-mitotic Golgi membrane reassembly and is implicated in cell-cycle control, ER-associated degradation, and proteostasis pathways relevant to neurodegeneration and oncology research. The microplate is configured as 96 Assays per kit and is intended for research-use laboratory quantification of human VCPIP1 levels.
