Human VCAM1/CD106 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human VCAM1 (CD106), a vascular cell adhesion molecule that mediates inflammation and the adhesion of immune cells to the endothelium. The colorimetric, double-antibody format is intended for research applications related to inflammatory conditions, where elevated VCAM1 levels have been associated with atherosclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, and rheumatoid arthritis.

The kit has been validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity has been tested at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with serum (n=5) showing 97-105%, 85-102%, and 85-98% respectively; EDTA plasma (n=5) showing 85-94%, 82-96%, and 85-101%; and heparin plasma (n=5) showing 81-100%, 84-100%, and 82-100%. Average recovery values are 97% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
