Human Vasorin (VASN) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise and reliable detection of Vasorin (VASN) levels in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Vasorin is a key protein involved in cellular processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and proliferation and may act as an inhibitor of TGF-beta signaling. The kit recognizes natural and recombinant human Vasorin and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.177 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.5% and inter-assay CV of 6.9%. Linearity in serum (N=5) spans 94–103% at 1:2, 99–109% at 1:4, 105–115% at 1:8, and 110–120% at 1:16; EDTA plasma (N=5) ranges from 86–95% to 109–120% and heparin plasma (N=5) from 95–106% to 102–114% across the same dilutions. Recovery in serum averages 89% (range 83–95%) and in plasma averages 91% (range 85–97%).

Vasorin (UniProt Q6EMK4), also known as Protein slit-like 2 or SLITL2, is a single-pass type I membrane protein that can also be secreted and interacts with TGFB1, TGFB2 and TGFB3.
