Human Vascular non-inflammatory molecule 3 (VNN3) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Vascular non-inflammatory molecule 3 (VNN3), also known as Vanin-3, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.082 ng/mL, with reported intra-assay precision of 5.7% CV and inter-assay precision of 7.0% CV. It shows specificity for natural and recombinant human VNN3 and has been validated for linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16, with recovery averaging 99% (range 93–105%) for serum and 101% (range 95–107%) for plasma.

VNN3 is an amidohydrolase (UniProt Q9NY84) that hydrolyses specifically one of the carboamide linkages in D-pantetheine, recycling pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and releasing cysteamine. The molecule plays a role in vascular biology, with involvement in regulating inflammation and oxidative stress; its dysregulation has been linked to cardiovascular disorders and neurodegenerative conditions.
