Human Vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human Vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a colorimetric detection method. The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with a reported detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 43pg/mL.

The assay demonstrates an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 102%, range 96-108%) and plasma (average 104%, range 98-110%), and linearity has been assessed across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples. VEGFA, also referred to as Vascular permeability factor, VPF, VEGF-A or VEGF, is a growth factor active in angiogenesis, vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth and is implicated in diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disorders and inflammatory conditions.

Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant human VEGFA, and the product is supplied for research use only. Recommended storage is -20°C with shipping at +4°C.
