Human VAMP8 ELISA Kit (HUFI05730)

This ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human VAMP8 (vesicle-associated membrane protein 8), a v-SNARE protein that drives membrane fusion events such as autophagosome–lysosome fusion, regulated exocytosis, and phagocytosis. The assay is run on a microplate format and is intended for in vitro research use only.

VAMP8 is studied in the context of autophagy regulation, SNARE-mediated vesicle trafficking, and innate immunity, including degranulation in neutrophils and mast cells. Investigators working on STX17/VAMP8 complex formation, secretory granule release, or pathogen uptake by phagocytes can apply this kit to quantify endogenous VAMP8 in human serum or plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell lysates. The standard protocol uses 100 µL of sample per well; reconstitute the lyophilized standard, store the kit refrigerated at 4 °C, and protect reagents from light; aliquot working solutions to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
