Human V-type proton ATPase catalytic subunit A (ATP6V1A) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of human V-type proton ATPase catalytic subunit A (ATP6V1A), the catalytic subunit of the peripheral V1 complex of vacuolar ATPase. The V-ATPase complex is responsible for acidifying a variety of intracellular compartments in eukaryotic cells, and dysregulation of ATP6V1A has been linked in the literature to cancer, osteoporosis and metabolic disorders, supporting its use as a target in studies of disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions.

The assay is reactive with human samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, with a stated detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and an inter-assay CV of 6.9%.

Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery averages 98% (range 92-104%) for serum and 100% (range 94-106%) for plasma. Specificity is described for natural and recombinant human ATP6V1A, and the kit is labelled for research use only.
