Human V (D)J recombination-activating protein 2 (RAG2) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human V(D)J recombination-activating protein 2 (RAG2), the core component of the RAG complex that mediates the DNA cleavage phase of V(D)J recombination — a process generating the diverse repertoire of immunoglobulin and T-cell receptor genes in developing B and T-lymphocytes. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 3.8% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 (N=5). Recovery ranges from 80-92% in serum (average 86%) and from 82-94% in plasma (average 88%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human V(D)J recombination-activating protein 2 and is intended for research use only.
