Human Urokinase-type plasminogen activator (PLAU) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Human Urokinase-type plasminogen activator (PLAU) in human samples using a colorimetric detection method. The kit is reactive with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.039ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.9%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant human Urokinase-type plasminogen activator (synonym: U-plasminogen activator). Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (101-112% at 1:2 through 87-97% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (102-112% at 1:2 through 102-113% at 1:16), and heparin plasma (110-120% at 1:2 through 90-100% at 1:16). Recovery averages 98% in serum (range 92-104%) and 100% in plasma (range 94-106%).

The target protein specifically cleaves the zymogen plasminogen to form the active enzyme plasmin and is localised to the secreted subcellular compartment. The kit is intended for research use only, with applications highlighted in the Neurosciences research area.
