Human Urocortin-2/UCN2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Urocortin-2 (UCN2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay is run as a competitive ELISA with antigen-coated wells using a colorimetric detection method based on a biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. In spiked recovery testing, serum averaged 95% (range 90–101%), EDTA plasma averaged 97% (range 88–105%), and heparin plasma averaged 93% (range 86–96%). Dilutional linearity for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions fell within 86–101%, 83–99%, and 80–100%, respectively. Unopened kit components are stored sealed at 2–8°C and should not be cryopreserved.
