Human Urate Transporter 1 (URat1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie URat1 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Urate Transporter 1 (URAT1, also known as SLC22A12), a urate-anion exchanger located on the apical membrane of renal proximal tubule cells. URAT1 governs reabsorption of filtered urate and is a validated pharmacological target in hyperuricemia and gout research, where inhibitors such as lesinurad and benzbromarone are studied for their effects on transporter activity. The kit is supplied in a microplate with all reagents necessary for the immunoassay procedure and is applicable to tissue homogenate samples using a 100 µL sample load per well. Store reagents refrigerated at 4 °C and protect from light to preserve antibody binding activity across the shelf life of the kit.
