The Human UQCRQ ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Ubiquinol-Cytochrome C Reductase Complex Chaperone, a 9.6 kDa transmembrane subunit of mitochondrial respiratory Complex III (the cytochrome bc1 complex). UQCRQ is essential for the proper assembly and stability of Complex III, and altered expression has been linked to mitochondrial Complex III deficiency, impaired oxidative phosphorylation, and related metabolic disorders.
