This Assay Genie ELISA provides quantitative measurement of Ubiquinol-Cytochrome C Reductase Hinge Protein (UQCRH), a hinge subunit of mitochondrial respiratory chain Complex III. UQCRH stabilizes the cytochrome bc1 complex and supports electron transfer between ubiquinol and cytochrome c, making it a useful biomarker in studies of mitochondrial bioenergetics, oxidative phosphorylation, and cellular metabolism.

The kit supports research applications in mitochondrial dysfunction, neurodegeneration, cancer metabolism, and cardiovascular research, where altered Complex III assembly has been implicated.
