Human uPA/Urokinase-Type Plasminogen Activator ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Urokinase-Type Plasminogen Activator (uPA) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a double antibody detection method with a colorimetric readout, the kit offers a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a measurable range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL, supporting reliable and reproducible results for a range of research applications.

The assay follows a straightforward sandwich ELISA protocol: equilibrate reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, then load standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate and incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes. After washing, a biotin-labelled detection antibody is added and incubated for 60 minutes, followed by HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is then added and incubated in the dark for 10–20 minutes before the stop solution is introduced and absorbance is read at 450 nm. All reagents are stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for up to 12 months.
