Human Uncharacterized protein C1orf106 (C1orf106) ELISA Kit

The assay delivers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.4%. Linearity has been characterised across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery averages 83% (80-89%) in serum and 85% (80-91%) in plasma.

C1orf106, also known as Uncharacterized protein C1orf106 (UniProt Q3KP66), is expressed in peripheral macrophages and intestinal myeloid-derived cells and is required for optimal PRR-induced signaling, cytokine secretion and bacterial clearance. The protein is localised to the nucleus and cytoplasm and translocates to the nucleus upon NOD2 stimulation.
