Human ULBP-2/ALCAN-alpha/N2DL2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1214)

The Assay Genie immunoassay kit quantifies human ULBP-2, a stress-induced NKG2D ligand also known as ALCAN-alpha or N2DL2, across conditioned cell culture media, serum samples, and plasma fractions. ULBP-2 belongs to the UL16-binding protein family of MHC class I-related glycoproteins that are upregulated on infected, transformed, and otherwise stressed cells, where they engage NKG2D receptors on natural killer cells and CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes to trigger target cell lysis. Investigators studying tumor immune surveillance, NK cell activation, graft-versus-host responses, and viral infection models use this kit to track soluble ULBP-2 shedding and to correlate circulating ligand concentrations with disease progression or therapeutic intervention. The assay is supplied as a complete kit with pre-coated microplate wells and reagents sufficient for 96 determinations per run, and the colorimetric endpoint is captured on a standard plate reader. Specimens are best refrigerated after collection and aliquoted prior to any freeze-thaw cycle to preserve analyte integrity.
