UHMK1, also called Kinase Interacting with Stathmin (KIS), is a serine/threonine protein kinase that phosphorylates stathmin and contributes to cell cycle progression, neuronal differentiation, and stress fiber organization in non-neuronal cells.

The kit uses an absorbance-based readout on a microplate and is supplied with all reagents required to generate a standard curve and quantify target protein across a panel of human research samples. Investigators apply this assay in vitro to profile UHMK1 expression in neurological, cardiovascular, and oncological research, and it pairs naturally with western blot or qPCR workflows when comparing protein and transcript abundance across patient cohorts, primary cultures, or established cell lines.
