The Human UGT2B4 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 2B4, a phase II conjugation enzyme predominantly expressed in hepatic tissue that catalyzes the transfer of glucuronic acid from UDP-glucuronic acid to bile acids, steroid hormones, phenolic compounds, and multiple therapeutic drugs and environmental xenobiotics.

This microplate-based immunoassay supports studies in hepatic drug metabolism, bilirubin clearance, glucuronidation capacity, and inter-individual variability, with applications spanning pharmacology, toxicology, and drug-drug interaction research.
