Human UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 1-1 (UGT1A1) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 1-1 (UGT1A1) in research samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, including serum and plasma. According to the manufacturer datasheet, the kit can also be used with tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

UGT1A1 is a key enzyme responsible for glucuronidation, a process central to drug metabolism and detoxification, and variations in its activity can influence drug response and disease susceptibility. The kit exhibits a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.045ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.7% and an inter-assay CV of 11.8%. Recovery in serum averages 103% (range 97-109%) and in plasma averages 105% (range 99-111%). Specificity covers natural and recombinant human UGT1A1.
