Human UBR4/E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this ELISA Kit uses a sandwich, double-antibody format designed for the precise measurement of UBR4 levels in human samples. It employs a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research on UBR4, an E3 ubiquitin ligase involved in protein degradation via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Dysregulation of UBR4 has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune conditions, making it a potential therapeutic target.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity in serum (n=5) is 93–105% at 1:2, 82–88% at 1:4, and 84–99% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) is 91–102%, 88–100%, and 81–89% at the same dilutions; heparin plasma (n=5) is 86–103%, 82–93%, and 80–95%. Recovery is 85–95% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 85–104% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 87–102% (average 95%) for heparin plasma (n=5).

The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature and loading standards and samples for primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
