Human UBQLN1/Ubiquilin-1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Ubiquilin-1 (UBQLN1) in human samples using a colorimetric detection method. The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and detects both natural and recombinant human Ubiquilin-1.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution ratios from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery is 95% (range 89–101%) for serum and 97% (range 91–103%) for plasma.

UBQLN1 is a key regulator of protein degradation pathways, linking the ubiquitin-proteasome system, autophagy and the endoplasmic reticulum-associated protein degradation pathway. Dysregulation of UBQLN1 has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, supporting its value as a research biomarker. The kit is intended for research use only.
