Human Ubiquilin-2 (UBQLN2) ELISA Kit

A research-use ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Ubiquilin-2 (UBQLN2) in human samples. The kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and shows reactivity with human Ubiquilin-2, recognising both natural and recombinant forms of the protein.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit offers a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 34pg/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 5.3% and inter-assay CV is 10.2%. Dilutional linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices, with an average recovery of 97% (range 91-103%) for serum and 99% (range 93-105%) for plasma.

Ubiquilin-2 is implicated in the regulation of protein degradation pathways, including the ubiquitin-proteasome system, autophagy and the endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) pathway, and has been associated with neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer's disease.
