Human Ubiquilin-1 (UBQLN1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Ubiquilin-1 (UBQLN1) in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. UBQLN1 plays a key role in protein degradation through the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS), autophagy and the endoplasmic reticulum-associated protein degradation (ERAD) pathway, and dysregulation of the protein has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, supporting its relevance as a potential biomarker for disease research and diagnostic studies.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averaged 95% in serum (range 89-101%) and 97% in plasma (range 91-103%). The assay recognises natural and recombinant human Ubiquilin-1 (UniProt Q9UMX0).
