The Human UBE2G2 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables precise quantification of ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 G2 (UBE2G2), a critical E2 enzyme in the ubiquitin-proteasome system. UBE2G2 drives ER-associated degradation (ERAD) by polyubiquitinating misfolded client proteins, including CFTR mutants associated with cystic fibrosis and aggregation-prone substrates studied in neurodegeneration models.

This research-use-only ELISA provides a quantitative tool for profiling UBE2G2 expression across human sample matrices, supporting studies in protein homeostasis, cancer biology, and cellular stress responses. The pre-coated plate format supports up to 96 determinations per run, with biotin-streptavidin signal amplification, a 37°C incubation step, and a colorimetric endpoint read on a standard plate reader.
