Human UBC ELISA Kit (HUFI05847)

The Assay Genie Human UBC ELISA Kit enables sensitive quantification of Ubiquitin C, the 8.5 kDa regulatory polypeptide encoded by the constitutively expressed human UBC gene. Ubiquitin monomers are generated from a 9-repeat polyubiquitin precursor and serve as central tags in the ubiquitin-proteasome degradation pathway, linking this kit to research in neurodegeneration, oncology, immunology, and protein turnover studies. The assay uses a human-specific capture antibody with no significant cross-reactivity with mouse or rat ubiquitin isoforms, allowing accurate measurement in human clinical specimens. Each kit contains a precoated microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, and buffer reagents sufficient for one plate run. For best results, allow all reagents to equilibrate before use, aliquot unused components to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and store the kit refrigerated between experiments.
