Human UACA ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody format kit for the quantitative measurement of UACA (Uveal Autoantigen with Coiled-Coil Domains and Ankyrin Repeat) in human samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. UACA (synonyms UACA, KIAA1561; UniProt Q9BZF9) is described as a protein relevant to uveal melanoma, a cancer originating in the uvea, and its quantification may support research into disease progression. Kit components are intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n = 5) covers 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, alongside recovery ranges for the same matrices. The protocol proceeds through reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin addition, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution.
