Human Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO (AXL) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise quantification of human Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO (AXL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Using a colorimetric detection method, the assay delivers a detection range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 31.31 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as 4.9% CV and inter-assay precision as 6.2% CV.

The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO (synonyms: AXL oncogene, UFO; UniProt P30530), a receptor tyrosine kinase that functions as a signal transducer between specific cell types of mesodermal origin and is of interest in cancer research. The receptor is also documented to act as an entry receptor for lassa virus, lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus and ebolavirus, possibly through GAS6 binding to phosphatidyl-serine at the virion envelope.

Linearity has been validated in serum (87–96% to 95–104% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (107–117% to 105–117%) and heparin plasma (110–120% to 105–115%). Spike-and-recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 85–97%) and 93% in plasma (range 87–99%). The product is supplied for research use only.
