Human Tyrosine Kinase 2/TYK2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of Tyrosine Kinase 2 (TYK2) levels in human biological samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie supports research into immune signalling, autoimmunity, and inflammation. The kit is reactive with human specimens and is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. In dilution linearity testing across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each), recoveries at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions were 89-104%, 90-93% and 80-99% for serum; 82-100%, 94-99% and 88-99% for EDTA plasma; and 88-104%, 91-102% and 91-98% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery yielded averages of 94% (serum, range 89-103%), 95% (EDTA plasma, range 87-101%) and 95% (heparin plasma, range 90-105%). The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

TYK2 is a key enzyme that regulates immune responses and inflammation, and its dysregulation has been linked to autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis, as well as inflammatory conditions including asthma and inflammatory bowel disease. Measuring TYK2 levels can therefore support studies into the pathogenesis of these disorders and the development of potential therapeutic strategies.
