Human Tyrosine 3-monooxygenase (TH) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format immunoassay designed for the quantitative measurement of human Tyrosine 3-monooxygenase (TH) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is intended for research use only and is suited to neuroscience applications, as tyrosine hydroxylase is the rate-limiting enzyme in catecholamine biosynthesis, involved in the production of dopamine, norepinephrine and epinephrine.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.1% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Linearity has been validated in serum (96-105% at 1:2; 86-95% at 1:4; 86-95% at 1:8; 87-97% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (89-98%; 107-119%; 104-113%; 92-103%) and heparin plasma (98-108%; 98-106%; 110-120%; 91-100%). Recovery averages 108% in serum (range 102-114%) and 110% in plasma (range 104-116%). The assay recognises natural and recombinant human Tyrosine 3-monooxygenase.
