Human Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 5 (CD40) ELISA Kit

Designed for research use only, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of human Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 5 (CD40) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method.

Validation data show a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 10pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.9% and inter-assay CV is 8.7%. Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions, with measured values spanning 92-115% in serum, 85-112% in EDTA plasma, and 81-118% in heparin plasma across the dilution series. Recovery averaged 100% in serum (range 94-106%) and 102% in plasma (range 96-108%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human CD40 (UniProt P25942), a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily that serves as a receptor for TNFSF5/CD40LG and transduces TRAF6- and MAP3K8-mediated signals that activate ERK in macrophages and B cells, leading to induction of immunoglobulin secretion.
