Human Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4 (TNFRSF4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4 (TNFRSF4), also referred to as OX40 and CD134. Intended for research use only, the kit supports work in immunology, where TNFRSF4 is implicated in T cell proliferation, inflammatory response, B cell proliferation, regulation of apoptosis and tumour necrosis factor-mediated signalling. TNFRSF4 is a single-pass type I membrane protein that acts as a receptor for TNFSF4/OX40L/GP34.

Validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the assay recognises both natural and recombinant human TNFRSF4. Reported performance figures are a detection range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 15.6 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 3.5% and an inter-assay CV of 6.7%. Spike-and-recovery testing gave an average recovery in serum of 94% (range 88-100%) and in plasma of 96% (range 90-102%).

Detection is by colorimetric readout. Standards and samples are incubated in the wells of a dismountable microplate, followed by sequential addition of detection reagents and a substrate solution. The reaction is terminated with stop solution and the optical density of each well is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.
