Human Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10D (TNFRSF10D) ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10D (TNFRSF10D) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human TNFRSF10D.

The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with antibody specific to TNFRSF10D. Samples and standards are added, followed by a biotin-conjugated detection antibody and avidin conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP). A 3,3′,5,5′-Tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) substrate produces a colorimetric change that is terminated with a sulfuric acid stop solution and read at 450 nm ± 2 nm. Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.4%, an inter-assay CV of 10.6%, and recovery of 103% (range 97–109%) in serum and 105% (range 99–111%) in plasma.

TNFRSF10D is a TRAIL receptor with a truncated death domain that protects against TRAIL-mediated apoptosis rather than inducing it. It is a single-pass type I membrane protein with a molecular weight of 41,823 Da (UniProt Q9UBN6), widely expressed across many tissues including fetal kidney, lung and liver, adult testis and liver, and peripheral blood leukocytes.
