Description

Designed for quantitative measurement of human Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 10C (TNFRSF10C), this sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie provides a sensitive, reproducible workflow for immunology research. The assay uses a pre-coated capture antibody on a microplate, with a biotin-conjugated detection antibody and HRP-conjugated avidin producing a colour change with TMB substrate that is read at 450 nm. Bradford Reagent is included for total protein normalisation.

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human TNFRSF10C. The detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL and sensitivity is 0.078 ng/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 7.2% and inter-assay CV is 11.1%. Spike recovery averages 103% (range 97–109%) for serum and 105% (range 99–111%) for plasma. Dilutional linearity has been demonstrated in serum (99–110%, 107–116%, 93–105%, 99–99% at 1:2–1:16), EDTA plasma (81–93%, 86–96%, 92–105%, 86–98%) and heparin plasma (108–117%, 84–94%, 91–103%, 87–100%). TNFRSF10C, also known as TRAIL-R3, DcR1 or CD263, is a GPI-anchored cell-membrane decoy receptor for TRAIL that lacks a cytoplasmic death domain and so can antagonise TRAIL-mediated apoptosis.
