The TNFSF7 protein, widely referenced as CD70, is a 50 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor ligand family. It engages the CD27 receptor on T lymphocytes, NK cells, and memory B cells to deliver co-stimulatory signals that drive proliferation, boost IFN-gamma and IL-2 release, and shape germinal center responses. Dysregulated CD70 expression is implicated in clear cell renal carcinoma, glioblastoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, supporting its use as a biomarker in tumor immunology and autoimmunity research programs.

Supplied by Assay Genie, the kit ships in a refrigerated format with a reported detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose near 7.8 pg/mL; unopened microplates and buffers remain stable at 4 degrees C until the printed expiration, while reconstituted standards and diluted detection antibody should be aliquoted and frozen at -20 degrees C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The protocol accommodates cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenate, and other human biofluid samples, and each run processes one plate using a standard ELISA workflow. This reagent is labeled for research use only and is commonly cited in studies of immune checkpoint biology, graft-versus-host disease, and EBV-associated lymphoproliferative disorders.
