Quantitative measurement of soluble Fas Ligand supports apoptosis research, immune regulation studies, and investigations into cytotoxic T-cell activity. Fas Ligand (TNFSF6, CD95L) is a type II transmembrane cytokine of the tumor necrosis factor family that triggers programmed cell death by engaging the Fas receptor. Quantifying circulating levels helps characterize autoimmune conditions, transplant rejection responses, and tumor immune evasion mechanisms in human subjects.

This Assay Genie kit provides a complete set of reagents for measuring Fas Ligand in laboratory samples, packaged in a microplate format for in vitro research use only. The assay procedure supports standard ELISA workflows and accommodates human liquid specimens commonly analyzed in immunology and oncology laboratories. Unopened reagents should be stored at 4 °C upon arrival to preserve antibody binding activity through the stated shelf life, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles of standard dilutions should be avoided.

Each kit includes pre-coated plate wells, detection antibodies, recombinant standards, and substrate solution sufficient for 96 determinations, allowing researchers to generate reproducible standard curves for quantifying Fas Ligand concentrations across experimental conditions with a recommended sample volume of 50 µL per well.
