Human Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 18 (TNFSF18) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative detection of human Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 18 (TNFSF18), also referred to as glucocorticoid-induced TNF-related ligand (GITRL) or AITRL. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is stored at -20°C and shipped at +4°C.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 20pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.6% and inter-assay CV is 9.6%. Dilutional linearity in serum ranged from 81-119% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, EDTA plasma from 85-120%, and heparin plasma from 92-116%. Average recovery is 85% in serum (range 80-91%) and 87% in plasma (range 81-93%). The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human TNFSF18.

TNFSF18 is a cytokine ligand for TNFRSF18/AITR/GITR that regulates T-cell responses, lowering the threshold for T-cell activation and proliferation, and mediates activation of NF-kappa-B. The protein is a single-pass type II membrane protein reported to form homodimers and homotrimers, with a molecular weight of 22,724 Da and UniProt entry Q9UNG2. Intended for research use only.
