Human Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 14 (TNFSF14) ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with human samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 32pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is given as 3.3% CV and inter-assay precision as 7.1% CV. Spike-and-recovery in serum averages 89% (range 83-95%) and in plasma 91% (range 85-97%). Linearity has been evaluated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The assay specifically recognises natural and recombinant human TNFSF14 and is intended for research use only.

TNFSF14 is a homotrimeric cytokine that binds TNFRSF3/LTBR and serves as a ligand for the herpesvirus entry mediator; the protein is associated with NF-kappaB activation, T-cell proliferation and immune response signalling.
