Human Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 13 (TNFSF13) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative measurement of Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 13 (TNFSF13) in human samples. The kit is intended for research use only and supports studies of TNFSF13, also known as APRIL (A Proliferation-Inducing Ligand), a cytokine that binds TNFRSF13B/TACI and TNFRSF17/BCMA and plays a role in immune regulation, inflammation, B cell development and tumor cell growth.

Validated sample types include human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with the assay recognising both natural and recombinant human TNFSF13. The kit is for cancer research applications. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.34 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.7%, an inter-assay CV of 9.4%, and spike-and-recovery of 97% (range 91–103%) in serum and 99% (range 93–105%) in plasma. Linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. TNFSF13 is a secreted homotrimeric cytokine belonging to the tumor necrosis factor family.
