The TULP3 (Tubby-like protein 3) target is a member of the tubby-like protein family, characterized by a conserved C-terminal tubby domain that binds phosphoinositides. It plays a pivotal role in intraflagellar transport and negatively regulates Hedgehog signaling by trafficking GPR161 out of primary cilia.
