Human Tubulin Beta (TUBb) ELISA Kit

Human Tubulin Beta (TUBB) is a 50 kDa globular protein that pairs with alpha-tubulin to form microtubule heterodimers, the building blocks of mitotic spindles, neuronal axons, and primary cilia.

Accurate quantification of total TUBB supports studies of cytoskeletal remodeling in tumor invasion, neurodegenerative disease models, and the cellular response to microtubule-stabilizing or depolymerizing drugs.

The Assay Genie TUBB ELISA kit is supplied as a microplate pack with all critical reagents included: pre-immobilized capture antibody on strip wells, biotinylated reporter antibody, recombinant calibrator protein, enzyme conjugate, chromogenic substrate solution, concentrated wash buffer, and assay diluent.

Working standards and detection antibody should be aliquoted upon first use and stored frozen below -20 degrees C; the remaining kit components are kept refrigerated and protected from light until the printed expiration date.

Recommended sample types for this protocol include clarified cell lysates prepared in non-denaturing buffer, snap-frozen tissue homogenates, conditioned cell culture medium, EDTA- or heparin-anticoagulated plasma, and serum harvested by standard clotting procedures.

Cross-reactivity testing confirms measurable detection of mouse TUBB isoforms, and the assay is calibrated against recombinant human calibrator across a working range of 0.312-20 ng/mL with a minimum detectable dose of 0.078 ng/mL, requiring 100 microliters of sample per well.

Each microplate supports 96 determinations in singlet or 48 in duplicate.
