Human Tubulin beta-3 chain (TUBB3) ELISA Kit

TUBB3 is a class III beta-tubulin that forms alpha-beta heterodimers which assemble into microtubules. It is primarily expressed in the central and peripheral nervous system and plays a critical role in axon guidance and maintenance. Dysregulation of TUBB3 is linked to neurodegenerative disorders and various cancers, and mutations are associated with congenital fibrosis of the extraocular muscles, making it a valuable biomarker for studies of neuroscience and disease pathogenesis.

The assay uses a colorimetric read-out with a detection range of 0.625-40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.32 ng/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 7.1% and inter-assay CV is 9.4%. Average recovery is 101% in serum (range 95-107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97-109%). For research use only.
