Human TTN/Titin ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of titin (TTN) levels in human biological samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie works with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. Titin is a key protein found in muscle tissues, playing a crucial role in muscle contraction and relaxation, and abnormalities in titin levels have been linked to various muscular disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying muscle-related conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.

Kits should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding the stop solution. Linearity for serum (n=5) was 86-105% at 1:2, 86-97% at 1:4, and 85-101% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma (n=5) 86-97%, 85-101%, and 83-99%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) 80-99%, 81-100%, and 85-97%. Recovery averages were 93% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 96% for heparin plasma.
