The TTC37 protein is a core scaffold component of the SKI complex, an evolutionarily conserved RNA surveillance machine that channels aberrant mRNAs toward exosome-mediated decay. Loss-of-function variants in the human TTC37 locus on chromosome 5q15 cause Trichohepatoenteric Syndrome (THES; OMIM 222470), a rare congenital enteropathy marked by intractable diarrhea, facial dysmorphism, woolly hair, hepatic fibrosis, and combined immune deficiency. Quantitative measurement of TTC37 in research specimens helps investigators track SKI complex integrity and explore the molecular basis of THES and related RNA quality-control disorders.

This chromogenic absorbance-based kit from Assay Genie is configured for quantitative detection of human TTC37 in serum-derived and plasma-derived research samples, supporting in vitro studies of RNA turnover, exosome biology, and rare-disease mechanisms. Each kit is supplied as a complete reagent set for 96 Assays in a standard microplate format, with all buffers, standards, and conjugate components validated together for the intended analyte. The assay is intended for research use only and is not cleared or approved for clinical diagnostic procedures.
